Why is my pot-bellied pig acting like that?
It is because they aren’t dogs and do not appreciate being treated like a dog. Especially touched, petted and fed like a dog! They are PIGS and PROUD of IT. We need to learn from a pig what a pig needs.
Why does my pig charge guests that come into the house?
Pigs are very territorial therefore it is the pig’s house. Guests need to ask him or her if they are welcome to come in. (They will probably have to repeat this request before entering any room if pig is around.) Rx: When guests are expected : Ask pig to stay in his or her space and close door. It is less stressful for everyone, especially the pig.
