My horse no longer appears to enjoy his work out, something is wrong but I can’t put my finger on it.

There may be one or more reasons he or she is “off”. A session reveals whether the horse is in pain and where; how he feels about the work that is expected of him; whether it is time for new routine, new activities or simply rest.

I have two mares raised in a similar environment: the 10 year old is much more even tempered and quiet than the 18 year old who frequently spooks at familiar objects. Why is that?

Is she getting a feed that is too rich for her daily activities?
